Ali Gallagher grew up in Ohio as the middle child of seven children in a close knit family. She started creating art at a young age, and as an adult studied painting, drawing, wood-working, welding, printmaking, bronze casting and forging.
Ali attended the University of Cincinnati where she graduated with a BFA in Fine Arts from the university's Design, Architecture, Art and Planning Program (DAAP). Shortly after, she relocated to New York City and began work as the Production Design Assistant for seasons three and four of "Sex and the City."
From there, she went on to create elaborate window displays for Barneys NY with Creative Director, Simon Doonan. This experience eventually led her to the world of set design, where she collaborated with influential photographers including Zoey Grossman, Daria Kobayashi-Ritch, David Slijper, Michael Thompson, Norman Jean Roy, Patrick Demarchelier and Jenny Gage & Tom Betterton.
Her advertising clients include Adidas, Fabletics, Anthropologie, BCBGMaxAzria, Bloomingdale's, Coca-Cola, Converse, Esprit, LeSportsac, Levi's, Nike, Nordstrom, Puma, Sony and Uggs.
