Sebastian Sabal-Bruce was born and raised in Santiago Chile. He started his career in fashion photography in 2010 after graduating in Fine Arts.
Sebastian learned his lighting techniques from his father who was a fine art and portrait photographer. He honed in on his own sensibility from his mother who was a painter.
In 2006 he moved to Spain to complete his studies at the University of Barcelona. This is where he formally started his career as a photographer. He exhibited his work as a Fine Art Photographer at galleries such as H2O.
Always attracted by including subjects in his work, Sebastian started to flirt with Fashion Photography, a cross-over that would give him a whole new world of possibilities and freedom to express his creativity.
His photography is directly influenced by cinema, viewing the models also as characters adding emotion and strength to beauty.
Sebastian has been shooting for clients such as The Last Magazine, Porter Magazine, Derek Lam, H&M, Ralph Lauren, W, Khaite, The Line, Protaganist, Anthropologie, Citizens of Humanity, and Massimo Dutti.
